Marie of Edinburgh married to the German Ferdinand of Hohenzollern, became 1914 Queen of Romania, in the middle of the WWI. At the Peace Conference 1919 in Paris, when the leaders of the three great powers wound up bunkrupt empires and created new countries, the fascinating Queen of Romania travels to Paris and London to fight in her own, special, charming way for the rights and the unification of her country. Her mission is almost impossible, with no political education and being a woman in a men’s world. But she doesn’t take a no for an answer.
